Traditional Service
Our traditional worship services are at 8:00 and 11:00 a.m. Both of our traditional services include music, the reading of scripture, and a sermon, yet they are two distinctly different services. Our 8:00 service includes hymns out of both today’s United Methodist Hymnal and the old standard Cokesbury hymnal. Though it is the earlier of the traditional worship services you can always expect a wonderful message and the power of the risen Christ. Our 11:00 service provides Hymns out of the Current United Methodist Hymnal, a full Choir, soloists, processions, and more emphasis on a “high church” feel. Both services follow the traditional church calendar for the seasons of the Christian year, often reflected in the themes of the services, the readings and music. The colors of the paraments (linens on the table, lectern and pulpit) also reflect those seasons. The Service of Holy Communion is celebrated the first Sunday of every month.

Contemporary (Christian Life Center)

Our contemporary worship service is at 9:00 a.m. in the Christian Life Center. During our contemporary service, we worship God in a variety of ways:

  • Through contemporary songs led by a band made up of guitars, keyboards, drums, and a group of singers
  • Through visual arts and multimedia presentations
  • Through preaching using multimedia
  • Through a prayer where worshipers are provided kneeling rails, candles, and time to express their prayer concerns with the community.

The dress code and the setting is relaxed so come as you are!
